Sutter Gould Medical Foundation Changes Its Care Delivery in Oakdale

OAKDALE - Beginning in February, Sutter Gould Medical Foundation will change the way it provides medical care to residents in and around Oakdale.

The Foundation will sublease its Oakdale facility at 1420 H Street to physician tenants.
Dr. Krystyna Belski, a popular Oakdale pediatrician, will maintain her practice at this location.

Most Oakdale patients will see virtually no changes to their physician relationships. "The overwhelming majority of the managed care patients affiliated with Sutter Gould will continue to see their local Oakdale physicians just as they do now," said James Conforti, Regional Director of Managed Care for Sutter Health.

The only patients affected by the changes are those patients choosing to remain with Dr. Gustavo Galeano (Family Practice) or Dr. Alberto Cajigas. (Pediatrics). On February 1st, Dr. Galeano will move his practice to Sutter Gould Medical Foundation's Dale Road Care Center, Modesto, while Dr. Cajigas will move to the Pediatrics Department at Sutter Gould's Main Clinic at 600 Coffee Road, Modesto.

Through arrangements with many HMOs and the Oak Valley Independent Physician's Association (IPA), Oakdale-area residents with health plans that offer Sutter Gould Medical Foundation's provider panel can continue selecting community physicians for their care. "Sutter Gould remains committed to providing access to high quality health care services in convenient locations for residents in Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties," said Conforti.

Sutter Gould Medical Foundation has 16 care centers in Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties, where over 150 providers practice primary and specialty care.
